Executive Advisor

The role and responsibilities of Executive Leadership is often portrayed as an exceedingly lonely and stressful job.  Not only are you responsible for managing your agency's mission and finances but you must be able to create and maintain meaningful relationships with your staff, Board, volunteers, donors, elected officials and government officials yet maintain appropriate boundries that allow you to excersize independent judgement and leadership.

The inherent tension between sharing and holding your own counsel can often leave an  Executive without a realiable sounding board that has "no strings attached" or "judgements implied".

An Executive Advisor may be just the thing.  Depending upon the size and complexity of your organizational situation either Patty Oertel or Charles Watson will provide a reliable source of assistance, brain-storming, problem-solving and coaching.  A place to ask "dumb" questions without losing face - a place to bounce ideas without creating obligations - a place to work through complex work-life struggles.  A place where it is safe to learn and grow at a price you can afford.

This is a monthly retainer-based service that works best with an up-front mini organizational review and a monthly teleconference (face-to-face can work for some circumstances).  A typical agreement is for $1,750 (mini-review) and $750/month allowing a teleconference every couple of weeks on average.
